Welcome to Dr Venom's Lab - Examine the Truth about Venom!

 WARNING!

This page contains images that some may find disturbing. Minors and those of a sensitive nature should skip this page!

On this page I will endeavour to expel certain myths & answer commonly asked questions on VENOM

In many venomous animals, such as snakes & lizards, venom is simply a modified form of saliva, the digestive properties of which have evolved more specialized functions. Although the basic purpose of Venom is to either kill or destroy other living organisms.

Dr Venom discusses the process of Anti Venom manufacture & its effects

Poison Vs' Venom

The terms poison & venomare often used interchangeably, but they actually have very different meanings; it is the delivery method that distinguishes one from the other.

Poison is absorbed, ingested or inhaled; a poisonous animal can only deliver toxic chemicals if another animal touches or eats it.

Venom, on the other hand, is always injected: Every venomous animal has a mechanism to inject toxins directly into another animal; Pierce with fangs, stab with tails, spike with spurs, slash with spines, or chew with teeth.

For example, toads are usually poisonous while snakes are venomous.

So can you drink venom and not be harmed by it?

Hypothetically Venom is generally not considered to be toxic if swallowed and usually it must be injected into the tissue to take effect; however more research is needed here, so we do NOT recommend drinking venom!

Dr Venom looks at the Necrotizing effects of Deadly Spider Venom's and their Treatments

This picture was provided by one of my case study patients. It displays highly advanced stages of necrotized tissue and is probably one of the worst cases of Recluse Spider envenomation that I have examined. After several skin grafts and other medical procedures, I am informed that the condition of this patient has not improved, rendering the victim disabled for over a decade.

After following my recommendations of supplementary & natural therapy, there is some improvement.

My full analysis of this case and others to be published in my New Venom Guide - coming soon!
